Introducing our new Endurance Series Rear Uprights for your 1988 Pontiac Fiero track car. Fabricated from precision laser cut and CNC bent steel and welded in the USA, these rear uprights are the most robust upgrade for the Fiero rear suspension on the market.

For safety, the upgraded wheel bearing (not included - GM p/n 13544843) is a modern, high durability track-proven component with a 5x120 pattern and large 33-spline axle. This is one of the strongest, largest wheel bearings available to support high racing speeds and high downforce cars with 2+ G's cornering forces. The upgraded axle splines hold up better to higher torque output, short final drives, and hard drag racing launches. This is supported by the trailing link boss which supports the link bolt in double shear for better strength and safety. In addition, the brake caliper mount is unitized with the hub carrier for the greatest ultimate strength, and is directly compatible with factory Brembo 4-piston brake calipers (not included), a significant upgrade over the stock 1-piston sliding calipers.

To ensure the lateral links are capable of surviving punishing cornering loads from high downforce cars on slicks and R-compound tires, the link clevises are now in double-shear, with two shorter, stiffer bolts replacing the problematic and hard to find long bolt used in the factory uprights.

ONLY FITS 1988 FIERO REAR SUSPENSION. DOES NOT FIT 1984-1987 FIEROS.

DOES NOT FIT STOCK WHEELS. REQUIRES WHEELS WITH 5x120 BOLT PATTERN.

UPRIGHTS ARE SUPPLIED WELDED/ASSEMBLED AND PAINTED SILVER. IF YOU PREFER RAW/UNPAINTED PLEASE SPECIFY IN ORDER COMMENTS.

This set includes uprights ONLY. It does NOT INCLUDE brakes, wheel bearings, rod ends, struts, axles, etc.

Details

Installation of this part requires the Parts Bin Racing Lateral Link Kit (or similar with 2" mounting width and M12 hardware) and 5x120 wheels. It may also require the use of a larger master cylinder and different proportioning valve depending on your braking system.

Includes:

• Left and right steel rear uprights (for 1988 Fiero only)
• M14 trailing link bolts, nuts, and washers
• M12 lateral links bolts, nuts, and washers
• Wheel bearing bolts

Additional required parts are shown in the table below. Installer must source the required parts separately. Contact us if you need help selecting components such as trailing links, lateral links, rod ends, brake calipers, brake pads, rotors, etc.
